Juneteenth Cookout!

Hey folks! We’re having an entire cookout this Friday for Juneteenth! We’ll be having food, good conversation, more food, family and libations will be on deck! Appointments made on, or scheduled for June 19th will receive 10% off, which we NEVER do 😬 Gift cards will also be 10% off, so purchase one of those and use it toward a future appointment. Menu includes bbq chicken, hotdogs, hamburgers, corn on the cob, string beans, cornbread, Leah’s baked beans (🤤), pound cake and banana pudding. All are welcome. We hope to see you at the salon on Juneteenth!

Textured Hair Artists Connect

At Diaspora Salon, we’re creating space for assistants, apprentices, and stylists who value healthy hair, service to others, and meaningful community.

Our work is grounded in the care and legacy of Black salon culture, with a focus on naturally curly and coily hair. From our signature Curly Cuts and twist styles to custom color and thoughtful client experiences, we believe textured hair artistry deserves both intention and excellence.

We’re building a team- based salon environment in Baltimore where others can refine their craft and feel supported by a culture that honors where we come from while embracing where we’re going.
